RIALabz, has been working with a wide variety of business clients globally. It has been a proud privilege to have worked with such visionary, futuristic, wonderful, encouraging and prestigious clients, who have been a constant inspiration for the division to work on newer concepts and technologies and implementations trying to perform better each time with their constant and never ending support at all times. We strongly believe that they have been one of the major driving forces for us to consider RIA as one of the major implementation area that tends to be the next generation technology concept redefining the World Wide Web and the IT enabled services for any and every industry domain existing on the planet earth.

Having worked with over 35+ clients in 21+ countries globally, belonging to various domains and business categories and working on 85+ projects so far, we feel excited to have been a part of this wonderful experience, and to share with our prospective clients, we would say we look forward to extend this chain as long as we can possibly take it to. Introducing better flexible business engagement models and development processes to befit our client needs for all situations and circumstances, we continue to put in our never ending technology and business efforts, commitment levels and dedication to client servicing, meeting their expectations at all times.

Our client base can be segregated into four major areas where they belong to:

   Technology Consulting Companies

These are companies of any size and dimension who have a wider client base mostly at an enterprise level providing their Business and Technology Consulting understanding their business processes and simulating them into a technology set up for optimum utilization of their resource bandwidth. To a certain extent we also provide similar services to our clients who have minimal understanding on the technology affairs which can best suit their needs and requirements. We follow a flexible approach and a well defined process for catering to this client segment. There is couple of ways to work together.

   Project Oriented

Approach and Process

We have a clear and transparent approach with this client segment where they have the complete functional understanding on the requirement which we mutually call as a Scope of Work and a Client Budget defined for the project requirement which we follow strongly to come to a Quick Deal situation. We generally have a Master Service Agreements with such clients which gets revised on a yearly basis for a defined set of development activities being carried out at the premises of Gateway TechnoLabs Pvt. Ltd. The engagement process we follow goes like this:

Step 1:
We sign a Master Service Agreement with the company where the specific development services are mentioned clearly with the rates for hourly and month engagements under the three basic business models. The rates are defined as per the technology and then resource experience that is expected to be considered for any development activity.

Step 2:
We accept ongoing requirements from our clients and provide them with proposals based on the requirement including the execution methodology, Pricing & Payment Schedules with terms and conditions and other necessary details.

Step 3:
We maintain a record of all the projects we are bidding with the company and calculate the success ratio with them, at times discussing with them for the possible optimization.

   Joint Effort Venture

There are projects and situations where we work with our clients in a joint effort venture where we share certain technology expertise that the client does not have. Joining hands with us actually enables our clients to provide an end to end service for a complete implementation.

Approach and Process

For a Joint Effort venture we mutually discuss and define the approach and process to be followed for a particular project venture on a case to case basis considering the variants it may have.

   Consumer Clients

Consumer clients are considered to be clients who deal with the end user community directly. Mostly we have a wide variety of Industry oriented clients who either provide services to clients using technology enabled services or require a technology oriented platform for interacting with the end user community for selling their products or services. We cater to a number of such end clients belonging to various domains.

Approach and Process

Our approach to this client segment is quite elaborative and exhaustive, where we tend to get into a closer view of their business strategies and functional operations to know the nitty gritties of their business and transform our solution into an expert solution that takes care of all of their requirements of their present and future to a considerable extent. The Process we follow is :

Step 1.
We engage our business analysts and domain experts to communicate with the client Point of Contact (who has end to end understanding about the Business) on a regular basis and create a functional documentation that brings out a Wireframe or Skeletal picture of their business process. This communication can be done in offsite and onsite mode depending on the domain complexities and client interests. This is a paid service and hence we consider an onsite visit for this activity only when it is required for unavoidable reasons. This is basically what we commonly call in the IT industry as Business and Functional Requirement Study.

By the end of this step we need to be sure on two major aspects:

  1. 1. Functional Operation and Business Requirement for the Implementation
  2. 2. Budgetary Constraints (if any)

Step 2.
This is an intermediary step, where we convert the business requirement and Functional needs into a solution considering all possible technologies and platforms that best suits the implementation considering the end users and the operational hazards that may be in place. Our experts go through a brain storming exercise to ensure all possible situations are considered and to move on to the next level implementation. Not to mention we try to remain as much as possible within the budgetary constraint keeping the clients in loop for any Shoot-up’s envisaged.

By the end of this step the client is provided with a proposal with all necessary details mentioned including costs and timeline for development, for a clear perception of their requirement in totality and a completely defined solution, mapped to the requirement extracted in the initial communication phase.

Step 3.
On an approval from the client we have contractual agreements in place for the development and execution.

Step 4.
We remain in constant touch to sync on any new enhancements / new development ideas that can substantiate a business advantage to our clients. In short, we are there for all technology oriented assistance as a technology partner for their business needs.

   Enterprise Clients - Technology & NON Technology Oriented

We have been working with a couple of enterprise clients who have an excellent technology orientation having an efficient technology team working behind them. Most of the requirements that we have from this client segment is modular in fashion and is an ongoing work. The most common business engagement models that are in action are dedicated teams. We have been setting up Dedicated Technology Development Units for these clients and have been able to successfully meet their requirements working over the years with them. This is a typical scenario where the offshore development team works with the technical team as an extension of their technology unit providing such clients with a 24 x 7 development lifecycle, which has quadrupled their productivity.

Approach and Process

The approach and process that we follow is the same as the client’s technology consulting companies. We provide a flexible scenario to merge with their working schedules and patterns with our client setups and modulate the working shifts and time zones accordingly to meet their development requirements.
