Short Description:
The project was to develop a rich internet based mail client application to work with the existing IMAP mail server with variety of features and functions which should merge with the existing site in a seamless and flawless way so that it do not get interrupted for any reason. Its aim is to cut down the investment by avoiding the old site to be reworked and hampering ongoing workloads. The work was a challenging one in the sense that it required a lot of interfaces to be integrated. GTL identified the interfaces required and deployed best skilled professionals for executing high quality work. The application was designed in such a way that it was easily pluggable in pop flash framework. It could automatically check for new email and alert the users on arrival of the same enabling them to check for new email. The users could perform various types of activities: they could search and read emails, compose messages, download attachments to/from emails, perform multiple actions in block selections, drag and drop messages and contacts among folders/groups in addition of many auto-completion of other fields.

Virtual Class Room (VCR) is a rich web application for web conference and communication. Through which you can provide Online Training, Give Sales Presentation, Product Demo, Instant Presentations and even you can hold meeting over the Globe. VCR reduces your travel costs, save time, and increase productivity. It is an amicable solution to develop a Flex based web application facilitating rich communication using text as well as audio and video. Moreover, it also allows the users to share their desktops with one another. This application is aimed at providing a solution to reach out to the mass using contemporary technologies, instead of face-to-face encounters. Most effectively used docking - Expand / Collapse of different components to use maximum space among the screen share, common chat, private chat, presenter video and user list.

Assignment: E-commerce for Kids

Client Location: United Kingdom

Short Description:
This is a unique e-commerce portal which is different from the conventional web portals with a rich user interface and easy usability experience specially meant for Kids and the younger community. It is a shopping portal where a user can purchase products like Music, Books, DVDs, Toys, Gifts, Health & Beauty and many more. The solution to this requirement was to use a technology as front-end that could provide the rich experience as well as can interact with back-end effectively. Since there were many evolving technology for developing RIA applications, the real challenge was to consider the best technology that could fulfill the requirement. The decision was made to for Adobe Flex, since it was a robust technology provided by Adobe for developing RIA applications and Adobe Flex provided different type of integration with different back-end technologies .We had to choose the appropriate type of integration with the back-end so that the data transaction can be made fast without affecting the performance of the application.
