Short Description:
It is an enterprise level robust RIA for an electricity company. This application which has multiple modules deals with analysis and energy consumption in order to help save energy. Apart from having huge database of personal information of citizens and their energy readings the application facilitates the user to evaluate his/her daily energy consumptions through interactive components and data visualization and opening a way for user to use energy in an effective manner. Moreover the website also provides user the options to draw the floor plan of their home and also simulate the energy readings by dragging and dropping electrical and electronic devices into the floor plan which gives the user a better idea of where the energy is consumed and wasted at their premise. The website also provides saving tips to users by suggesting devices which will ultimately save energy and money as well. The main highlight of this application is automation part where user can automate the energy components in their home using this application which will be compatible in web as well as mobile. Adobe flex is used to build the complete client side of this application with .NET at the server-side and WebORB used as the middle tier. The client accessed remote object from the server side using WebORB which enable speedy and robust client-server communication.

Assignment: A Facebook Wallie Board Application

Short Description:
An application, deployed on face-book platform, allows users to create, share and gift their drawings. The application allows ready-to-use object creation including drag-n-drop picture placing and on-the-fly drawing and painting. Once the user draws on his canvas, he has number of options like posting it to his Facebook friends, sending it as a gift in the mail, saving it in his own Facebook profile or downloading to his desktop. In the second phase of the development, the application is to be deployed on other social community platforms like Orkut, MySpace, Hi5, Ning etc.

Assignment: Diabetes Awareness Application

Short Description:
This Rich Internet Application deals with spreading the awareness about diabetes. The application provides overall information about the countries which are more prone to the disease. It also provides information about the steps taken up by organization all over the world in order create awareness about insulin the drug used for curing diabetes. The application UI interface is rich and it basically navigates to different areas of the application through a world map. The application also includes integration of videos to give more specific information to a user. This application apart from built on Adobe flex it also include flash components. The client-side drives data from server side which is .NET through a middle tier WebORB. ILOG Elixir components which are third party graphical data display component library were also used in order to create more interactive data visualization in the application.
